About me

I am in love with colours (to the extent that I do not own a black dress).

As a professional I am a trained Architect with close to two decades of experience spanning two continents, designing residential, commercial and retail.

As a seeker, I am a practising Yogi.

An Indian classical dancer who loves giving stage performances.

I surround myself with colours, as they celebrate our existence and keep us grounded to the earth. My artwork, clothes, interiors of my spaces- all resonate this. Some call it curated, some call it joyous.

If you like what I paint and would like to make it a part of your surroundings, email me any questions that you might have on this page.

My Influences

  • My grandmother- 'naani'

We called her ‘budi-mamma’, which literally means the bigger/superior/elder mum- my mum’s mum. She grew up during the British Raj in India. I looked up to her elegance, capability of managing 9 children plus adults in a joint-family, where there were 3 generations staying together at any given time. Not uncommon in India.

  • My mother

She can make anything her own. I am still learning her way of carrying colours, patterns and designs with style. She leaves her unique imprint on everything she creates.

  • Me

I am my own influence perhaps. We all are…
