I created this painting for my love of its background colour- the yellow colour of the spice called turmeric or haldi. Haldi, is the spice, that blesses new beginnings, that which purifies, nourishes, heals repairs strengthens and protects. The foreground of this painting has been inspired by the surroundings in my house.
